he's left-handed, I'm right-handed. in math class freshman year, we shared a desk. I sat on the left, he sat on the right. thus, we were always bumping elbows when we started to doodle on our math papers
it evolved into the L-R-E wars.(it was math class, we were bored. 1+1=2

seriously though, we really are good friends, despite the glarey faces in this doodle. actually, this saturday(Jan. 22) marks the day we became friends at the U-of-O jazz festival. I will have known him for an entire year
amazing how close two people can grow over such a short time period...
